The Arabic Club organized a visit for students in the second semester of Arabic to Dickinson’s Trout Gallery on March 28, 2019. Arabic Club President Grace Ingle and our Visiting Foreign Language Teaching Assistant from Egypt, Radwa Elsherbiny, planned the visit to coincide with the Gallery’s special exhibition on the theme of “Agency, Tolerance and Imagination: Art and Civic Engagement.” They also planned several activities that combined Arabic language skills with art appreciation and current issues related to the concept of a nation, women, social justice, the environment, and animal rights.
