Yes, I remember saying that I wouldn’t post for another month, but I lied. So sue me. This post is namely to tell you that I’m not going to be using this blog anymore, but instead am going to be using a different one that’s customizable and whatnot. Essentially, I’m just testing to see if this thing is working, and am not planning on actually writing anything of “importance” until I’m on the plane out of LAX, which isn’t going to be for another 4 weeks. Which sucks. I’m going to be the last person from Dickinson sitting and waiting to go abroad while everyone else is either already back at school or is in another country. It’s not so much the fact that I’m bitter about going back so late, its more the fact that no one is around. When everyone is free for the summer, I’ll still be in Australia. For over a month after graduation at Dickinson. Oh well. Maybe I’ll enjoy Australia so much that I won’t mind, but for now, I’m looking at it as a sour side note.
That said, I am rather excited to be going abroad, even though I’m going to be missing a lot of things back at school (friends graduating, a spring break where my friends are actually planning on doing something ahead of time (even though spring break last year was great), hiring of new blue shirts, Senior week, etc.). Everything I’ve heard from people who have gone to Australia has been positive, saying that the time flies and that they wish they were still there, among other things. So that’s a good sign.
Anyway, this will be my last post for a little less than a month, and it went longer than I thought that it would, so for the people that care enough to be reading it, I guess I’ll catch you later.
