We had our last class on Tuesday. We gave our presentations and that took a while. I was nervous for my presentation, I usually get nervous when its presentation time. After the presentations, we talked about our experience in Japan, what we liked, what we didn’t like, and such things for a good bit. Before we left Professor Meguro told us that we would be having room inspections at three, I panicked for a bit because my room was a mess and I didn’t think I could clean it by three.
So after class, I decided I would have a quick lunch and then hurry and clean my room. We went to the curry place again.

After lunch, I walked quickly to my room and started cleaning and packing as quickly as I could. After an hour and a half of non-stop cleaning and packing, I was done. At three I went to meet Mishio, to go shopping with her. We went to Sakae and shopped the entire time. I got some last minute presents for my family and myself. I finally got a yukata, I’d been looking for a while now. Its real pretty, purple yukata with flowers on it, with a yellow bow. Afterwards we went to meet everyone at Maruzen for our final group dinner. The dinner was great, although it got sad at the end when people started making speeches. After dinner, we went to a karaoke place. It was awesome. We were there for about 2 hours, just singing and having a grand time. Around midnight, we left to go home. I was so tired and had a terrible headache that I went straight to bed. When I woke up it was hectic, I had less than 30 minutes to get everything done. I still wasn’t finished packing, so I ran around trying to finish packing and getting my suitcase upstairs.

Monday, I met with Professor Winston to discuss my paper. I told her I was doing the guy on the 10000 yen bill, she said that was okay, but I decided I would pick someone else because David was also reporting on him. Oh I forgot to mention that at the meeting, Professor Winston gave me my pottery vase that I made two weeks ago. It looks really cool, the color of the case is orange/red though, I though I had chosen green, oh well, it still looks really nice, I think I’ll give it to my mom.

So I went to my room and began searching for another person to report on. It took me a while, but I found the person I would report on. Junichiro Tanizaki; a famous writer in modern Japanese literature. I worked on the paper for a bit until lunch time, we were all going to meet some Nanzan students at the curry cafeteria. The curry place was really really good; I got the spiciest curry with fried shrimp, so yum. Afterwards we said goodbye to our friends who we had lunch with. I went back to my room and worked on paper until dinner time. Some of the students at Nanzan were throwing us a goodbye dinner party, where we made our won sushi. My mom taught me how to make sushi, so it was easy for me, but I saw some of the other students having trouble. The party was cute, I got to chat with some of the Nanzan students, who were very interested in America in general. We were there for a good while, and then we headed out looking for more food with Professor Winston. We found this nice Chinese restaurant and I had fried rice and dumplings there. After eating, we went to Book Off, a store where you can buy used books and cds. After that, I went to work on my paper till 2 in the morning.

Sunday was all about working on my paper. I woke up, dressed, and went to the supa again for sushi. I came back and started to research who I wanted to write about for my paper. That took a while because I didn’t have a clue as to who I wanted to write on. I then decided I would write my paper on the guy on the 10000 bill yen. I did most of my research that day and wrote a couple of paragraphs on him. Besides my paper, I didn’t do much on Sunday.

Oh, I did get a chance to talk to my best friend online, she’s never online because of work, but on Sunday she was online for bit, so I got to chat with her. After chatting, it was dinner time; we went to pastel for dinner. When we got there, I actually didn’t order anything except cake, I wasn’t very hungry. We came back and I played a game online for a bit. I got hungry later so I went to the supa looking for sushi, but they didn’t have anymore, so instead I got some pizza and pudding. At 11, we watched the soccer game. Then it was bed time.
