The ‘Roots team is now on the ground in Cameroon safe and sound. We are in the middle of our “adjustment period,” the week we put aside to readjust ourselves back to Cameroonian culture before heading down to the village.

In our orientation program we have penciled in overnights at our host families, bargaining for village supplies at the local markets, and many trips to visit old friends.

We have a few more days until we leave for the village and a few exciting service activities planned. Stay tuned for some posts on our time in the city while we have reliable internet!
