Purpose of the CBeR Initiative
Dickinson College’s initiative for community-based empirical research (CBeR) identifies research partnership opportunities to connect faculty and students with organizations and agencies in the Carlisle area. The CBeR initiative aims to provide a central source where
- local agencies can direct inquiries about their research needs,
- college faculty can find opportunities for their students to become involved in consequential research projects, and
- information about past and prospective partnerships can be stored and consolidated.
