Instructions for students requesting letters of recommendation
Please provide a minimum of two weeks between your request and the due date. Your request should be accompanied by the following items:
Relevant materials from the program to which you are applying. This may be a printed paper form or an online form.
Confidentiality form from the program or Dickinson College (as appropriate).
Names, addresses, and/or email addresses (as appropriate) where the letter should go.
Depending on the reason for the letter, additional materials such as your resume and personal statement may be helpful. This is especially true for applications to graduate school.
Stamps for any letters to be mailed.
