The University of Bologna (Unibo) is the oldest university in the Western world. Its history is intertwined with that of the great names of science and literature. It remains a point of reference for European culture.
Keep in mind that at Dickinson (1) courses at UniBo do not count toward a student’s GPA and (2) the number of courses that a student may take at the University of Bologna depends on their linguistic skills in Italian. Some take 3 while others might take 1.
We highly recommend taking at least 1 course because it provides you with a unique cultural experience that you can add to your résumé.
Check out what some of our students have said about their experiences:
- Student 01 (major in Italian Studies)
- Student 02 (major in Italian Studies)
- Student 03 (minor in Italian)
