Since its beginning in 2000, the Student Garden turned College Farm has encouraged youth education programs to use the farm’s resources to learn about soil, animals, bugs, worms and plants! How does nourishing food move from seed to soil to plant to harvest…and onto our plates and into our stomachs? Dickinson College students have developed environmental and agricultural education programs that are well-suited for K-12 classes, youth clubs and summer youth camps.
If you’d like to bring a school-aged group out to the garden or if you would like to invite our student farmers to visit your classroom, please contact farm@dickinson.edu.
