Chasing Coral film screening and panel discussion (Feb 5 @6pm)

Coral reefs around the world are vanishing at an unprecedented rate. Divers, photographers and scientists set out on an ocean adventure to discover why the reefs are disappearing and to reveal the underwater mystery to the world. Watch the trailer here.

This film is the follow-up to James Balog’s ‘Chasing Ice,’ which was screened years back at Dickinson when he was the first to receive the Rose-Walters Prize.

Budget for Abroad (November 30th)

Savē is a financial literacy program at Dickinson. On November 30th, they will host a pop-up workshop focusing on the intersection of finances and studying abroad. This is an opportunity to get answers to questions about budgeting for life overseas, how financial aid works for a semester abroad, how to work with Student Accounts for special circumstances while studying off-campus, and more. Representatives from several administrative offices will be present during this event, to provide a one-stop resource.
Students can drop in between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm in the Mary Dickinson Room of the HUB – no appointment is necessary!

Straight-laced 20-year-old Communist Mels finds these brazen ‘hipsters’ shocking until he falls under the spell of one, namely Polly.
