Interview with Alison Bechdel
This is a 2-year old interview, but I thought it really gave some neat insight into the process of making Fun Home, like why it’s told in a cyclical format and how Bechdel at first wanted it to be black and white. She talks a little about her family’s reaction to the book’s publication, and her integration into (dare I say) mainstream comics, as well as some up and coming works. And as an added bonus, there’s a shout out to Dickinson College! Woot woot!
