What’s up next to be voted on?
The Greywater project.
I’ve been following them around for the last few weeks as they’ve been gathering at the farm to work on the system, which they hope to get up and running before the end of the semester. The system will filter and reuse water produced by the farm’s bio-digester for agricultural uses. It will improve the farm’s sustainability by using natural resources (local plants) rather than mechanical resources to filtrate water, reuse resources on the farm, and cultivate knowledge among the members of the team and the larger Dickinson community concerning its purpose, design, installation and maintenance.
Right now they are working on building a base for the system, which is too heavy for any of the existing tables at the farm. Check out their progress below!
