I am an archaeologist specializing in geoarchaeology. Most of my work is in the Southeastern US (the Southern Cumberland Plateau and the Tennessee River Valley in particular) and in Eastern Europe.
I currently live in southcentral PA and teach at Dickinson College.The photos you see on this page were taken by my friend Alan Cressler. The top picture is looking down into the Shenandoah Valley in VA where I’m from.
