Día de los Muertos/Day of the Dead is celebrated annually on November 1 within Latin America to recognize the deceased. A key feature of this holiday is the ofrenda an altar dedicated to those who have passed. The PSC, the Latin American, Latino and Caribbean Studies (LALC), and Spanish departments, the Trout Gallery and Waidner-Spahr Library invite the entire community to learn about and contribute to a communal ofrenda. ALL are invited to place a meaningful object on the ofrenda as an offering for a deceased person.
