I see this piece as very tongue-in-cheek… a commentary on values of what’s proper/accepted in society and also dance.

I’m so curious to know what you are trying to say about this. Knowing that you most likely identify as male and you doing a very female gender heavy piece is interesting. The movement is very statuesque (sp?) and proper. It’s slow and purposeful. I got very uncomfortable everytime someone dropped a book, I felt myself rooting for the dancers so that they wouldn’t drop it.
