Jim earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering (Syracuse \u201977) before earning his PhD in Political Science (Buffalo &#8217;88) and joining Dickinson faculty in 1989. The intersection of the High St. and West St. (pictured here, along the eastern border of the president\u2019s house property), regularly floods when it rains.  Most of the overflow comes from Dickinson properties. (The only building with this status on campus currently is Old West.)
