Guests enjoyed Arab food, henna, Arabic calligraphy, dancing, music, and a vocal performance and poetry recitations by students.
The event was free and open to all, drawing students and faculty from a variety of departments and offices on campus.
After the event, a group of students and faculty viewed Lebanese director Nadine Labaki’s award-winning film “Capernaum” (click here to view trailer) at the Carlisle Theatre. Here are some photos to enjoy!
