Professor Burleigh Hendrickson presented on April 11, 2019, on the topic, “From Anti-colonialism to Human Rights: Tunisian Student Activism and Transnational Solidarities, 1967-1978,” from his forthcoming book on that subject. Students and faculty from several departments, including MEST and French, attended, enjoyed a light lunch, and participated in a broad ranging discussion of Tunisian activism from colonial times to the present, including the Arab Spring.
