{"id":81,"date":"2019-04-10T13:13:34","date_gmt":"2019-04-10T17:13:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/arabic\/?p=81"},"modified":"2020-03-23T13:35:23","modified_gmt":"2020-03-23T17:35:23","slug":"trout-gallery-visit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.dickinson.edu\/arabic\/2019\/04\/10\/trout-gallery-visit\/","title":{"rendered":"Trout Gallery Visit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Arabic Club organized a visit for students in the second semester of Arabic to Dickinson&#8217;s Trout Gallery on March 28, 2019.\u00a0 Arabic Club President Grace Ingle and our Visiting Foreign Language Teaching Assistant from Egypt, Radwa Elsherbiny, planned the visit to coincide with the Gallery&#8217;s special exhibition on the theme of &#8220;Agency, Tolerance and Imagination: Art and Civic Engagement.&#8221;\u00a0 They also planned several activities that combined Arabic language skills with art appreciation and current issues related to the concept of a nation, women, social justice, the environment, and animal rights.
