Biographical Information:<\/p>\n

Adile M-Afrika grew up in Ginsberg, a small community just outside of King William’s Town. Growing up, he described seeing few signs of being able to achieve any sort of personal advancement-he wanted to become a priest. \u00a0However, the arrival of BCM personalities like Steve Biko in Ginsberg changed his ideas of what it meant to achieve social advancement. He began to get involved with the BCM, especially after Steve Biko’s death, when M-Afrika joined the Azanian Students Movement, a chapter of the Azanian People’s Organization (AZAPO).<\/p>\n

M-Afrika speaks on a variety of topics related to the Black Consciousness Movement.
