He lives in the Zinyoka Location where he is involved with the Anglican Church. His involvement with the church brought him into contact with the Zanempilo Health Clinic.<\/p>\n<p>Interview Information:<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Zandzi details the founding of the Zanempilo Health Clinic. \u00a0The clinic was made possible by an agreement between Steve Biko and the Anglican church. \u00a0Because Zanempilo was funded by and under the control of the church, the apartheid government was unable to exert as much influence over it as they wanted. \u00a0They ruptured the church&#8217;s control when they murdered Steve Biko, effectively ending the agreement and forcing the church from the premises. \u00a0At the founding of the clinic, certain local leaders in Zinyoka did not like the idea of the clinic because of the politics it involved.
