Dr. Janine Ludwig<\/span><\/h1>\n

The program is supervised and represented by Dr. Janine \"Janine<\/a>Ludwig. Dr. Ludwig oversees administrative and academic integration with the Carlisle campus, including transfer of grades, close cooperation with the University of Bremen, academic excursions, independent studies, and the internship component of the program. She advises students in all academic matters and teaches the German 340 course (Comparative Cultures USA – Germany<\/em>) in the fall. She also oversees issues of student life, student health, cultural experience, housing, budget, and organizes public events for the program.<\/p>\n

Dr. Ludwig received her Ph.D. in Contemporary German Literature, Philosophy, and Theater Studies\/Cultural Communication from Humboldt University Berlin and has served as Humboldt’s first Academic Representative in NYC, as Referent to the Vice President for International Affairs and Public Relations, and as Visiting Lecturer at Dickinson College in 2013\/14.<\/p>\n

\"\"Antonia is a student at the University of Bremen who is currently finishing her Bacherlor’s degrees in English-Speaking Cultures and Special Education as well as Mathematics. In 2023, she received the Dickinson OSA (Overseas Student Assistant) scholarship and worked as a teaching assistant in the German Department at Dickinson College for two semesters. After her return to Bremen, she was interning with the Dickinson in Bremen program until the end of 2024.<\/p>\n

Since January 2025, she holds the position of the program coordinator for the William G. and Elke Durden Bremen Program in which she is responsible for administrative and organizational matters. She also manages the program\u2019s social media.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
