Central to this work is Experiential Learning, which I view as a key pedagogy for integrating academic and cultural experiences while fostering linguistic development, critical self-reflection, and global awareness.

In the post-pandemic period, I discovered a renewed sense of purpose in my work. With more than twenty years of experience in higher education, I recently completed a three-year training program in existential humanistic counseling, which has aligned naturally with my role at Dickinson in Bologna. This training has opened unexpected and meaningful avenues to support self-discovery and emotional resilience within the study abroad experience.

Download my CV here.

“A new language is almost a new life, grammar and syntax recast you, you slip into another logic and another sensibility.” — Jhumpa Lahiri I am a dual Italy–U.S….

["post-2","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
