He married Mary Eliza Bosler in 1902 and the wealth and status of their families together made him now, one of the most distinguished citizens of Carlisle. Sadler wanted to build a home for his wife and found the perfect tract of land along Walnut Bottom Road. At the time, William Noble owned that land and many other plots of land in Carlisle. When he passed away, his nephew Joseph Noble sold the spot to Sadler in 1909.
