Hello all! My name is Romario Cruz and I’m a current first year at Dickinson College. I’m from from Los Angeles, California a city somewhat bigger than the town of Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Food’s always been very prominent in my life, I love it! Where I’m from it’s very easy to find different many different dishes from a number of unique cultures. At home, my aunt’s the one with the special ability to cook great dishes. Fortunately however she’s taught me a few things during my time growing up with them. Food is very unique in that it’s a great conversation starter and works very well in family get togethers. My aunt is known for her very tasty Caldo de Pollo which my cousins and family all love. And the making of food has become a great outlet for me to help with destressing.
