Ingredients
    Dry ingredients
  • 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 tbsp sugar
    • Liquid ingredients
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 2 tbsp egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup warm water
    • Leavening Agents
  • 1 1/2 tsp baking powder (other options are possible see above for choices)
Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400F
  2. Place a muffin liner in each of the cups in the muffin pan.
  3. To the larger bowl, combine all-purpose flour, salt, and sugar.
  4. To the larger bowl, add the leavening agent of your choice. Click here to learn about the options.
  5. In the smaller bowl, mix together oil, egg, milk, and warm water.
  6. Add liquid ingredients to the bowl of dry ingredients.
  7. Quickly mix the ingredients together, counting exactly 20 stirs. Never mix the muffin batter until smooth. Click here to found out why.
  8. Fill each muffin liner 2/3 full with the batter.
  9. Bake at 400F for 20 minutes or until done.
