\"\"Welcome! My name is Alexis Jefferson, and I am a first-year student at Dickinson College. I am currently an undeclared major attempting to figure out what path life has in store for me. Cooking is something really important to me since it’s an activity my family has always done together. My father, who died in 2017, self-identified as a grill master while my mother and I baked everything under the stars. As a family, I’ve learned to make tasty treats, home-cooked meals, and summertime grill cookout specialties. My brother has since taken on the role of grill master, leaving me with plenty of time to learn new recipes. Additionally, I own three adorable cats (two girls, one boy) that have stolen my heart since I’ve laid my eyes on them. I try to spend as much time as I can with my family and pets because they mean the world to me; I’m sure we all know forever is simply not enough time. You can catch me making homemade jelly in the summertime, baked pies every season, and fluffy cookies on a regular basis.
