The government censors most Turkish media, even social media so there is interesting research to be done regarding censorship. I am interested to explore how the Turkish government regulates media and whether they rely on self-censorship or pre-censorship. I know journalists in Turkey have been jailed for writing anti-government articles so it is likely that the Turkish government relies somewhat on self-censorship. I do not know much about propaganda through the media in Turkey. I am curious to know how much \u00a0propaganda the Turkish government makes for everyday media or if they simply censor topics that could harm their image.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p class=\"post-excerpt\">The link between the government and media would be especially fascinating to study in Turkey.
