One day was devoted to a visit to <em>UPBC Organop\u00f3nico Vivero Alamar<\/em>, an 25-acre organic farm in Alamar, a district of the province of Havana. The entire group was given a tour, and some of the group chose to stay for lunch and an afternoon of work on the farm while others attended other lectures. Another day, students were taken to multiple urban agriculture sites throughout the city, including an urban roof project and the first civilian organop\u00f3nico in Cuba.
