Darlene Meier
Lay Campus Minister
Darlene Meier grew up on a farm in Iowa the youngest of seven children. She attended Mount Marty College in Yankton, SD and earned a degree in Family Consumer Science with a minor in Education and Biology. She, her husband, Mike, and children lived in Iowa, Brazil, and Mexico before coming to Carlisle. While raising her four children, she was an aide at Carlisle High School, a Secretary to the Business Manager and Middle School Counseling Office for Northern York County School District, and she also taught at Northern York Middle School. Most recently she was the Parish Life Coordinator for the Catholic Community at Mary Queen of Peace Memorial Chapel at Carlisle Barracks. Her faith is all important to her, and she hopes to help the Campus Ministry Team be a witness of the Catholic faith to the students at Dickinson College.
