Hey everyone,<\/p>\n

I wanted to take this opportunity and use this space to introduce myself. My name is Daniel Grover and I’ll be handling all things bike and Handlebar this semester through the Center for Sustainability Education. I’m taking over from Lauren Bruns and I definitely have big boots to fill.<\/p>\n

I’m excited to get some rides together this semester, increase our volunteer capacity in the shop, and have a couple of field trips to the awesome recycle bicycle in Harrisburg for those who are interested.<\/p>\n

I’m mainly just an around town biker but I do go on road rides and mountain rides from time to time. However, I’m super passionate about bikes and biking and hope to bring that to everyone at Dickinson.<\/p>\n

If you’re interested in volunteering this semester, email the account at\u00a0biking@dickinson.edu<\/a> and we’ll bring you into the rotation. No degree of mechanical skills is necessary, just a willingness to learn.<\/p>\n

If you’d like to join us on rides, have any biking news, or anything else bike-related to share, the best way to do that is to use the Dickinson biking listserv<\/a>. You can subscribe using that link or email the account and I’ll add you on.<\/p>\n

Also, if there’s anyone out there who’s both bike inclined and blog inclined and would like to guest post (could be literally anything from a video you found on the web to the essay you wrote on bike culture in fifth grade), just send it my way and I’ll see it gets on the blog all pretty like.<\/p>\n

Just a reminder: the Shop Hours for the beginning of this semester are 3:00-5:30 on Thursdays!<\/strong><\/p>\n
