This weekend, I had the opportunity to visit the amazing Pedal Power Engineering shop in Whalonsburg, NY. I was up in the Champlain area for an event called Farmhack, which brings together designers, engineers, farmers, and tinkerers to solve equipment and mechanical problems on small-scale farms. Pedal Power has recently turned its attention to agricultural applications of bicycles! Working with nearby Essex Farms, they&#8217;ve been exploring the possibility of using bikes as tools for growing sustainable food.
