Ross, who spearheaded President Obama\u2019s technology and innovation plan and developed a digital payment platform for soldiers in the Congo, will explain Bitcoin\u2019s origins, operations, and pitfalls, and describe the impact of the rise of digital currency on financial institutions, international politics, and global poverty.
