Introduction:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Alfred Tennyson (1809-1892) is an English poet and author of The Lady of Shalott<\/em>.\u00a0 The following project will analyze the famous poem from Tennyson’s second collection (1932) and explore its relation to Tennyson’s first volume of poetry, and third volume. This project will examine numerical data, close read Tennyson’s The Lady of Shalott<\/em>, and analyze life trauma and loss Tennyson has endured in order to discover potential changes in his writing and see if the losses impacted his writing at all. This project will provide in-depth information about Tennyson’s life, and the origin and history of his poem, The Lady of Shalott<\/em>.<\/p>\n
