Masters of Arts in Teaching Earth Science at Richard Gilder Graduate School at the American Museum of Natural History- the first urban teacher residency program offered by a museum.
All degree candidates will receive free tuition and books and a $30,000 living stipend. In return, candidates commit to teaching in a high-need school in New York State for four years. With a focus on preparing new Earth Science teachers, the MAT program is a full-time, 15-month fellowship Master’s program that takes place at the museum and in urban partner schools.
