Position: Catskill Watershed Steward (Research Aide)
Description: “This position will work in the Catskill Watershed Steward Program (CWSP), with the public, to identify and thwart aquatic invasive species (AIS) from new introductions into the Catskill Region as well as to thwart AIS exports from the region.”
Where: Otsego, Sullivan, Delaware, Schoharie, & Green Counties
Salary: $18/hour starting
When: May-October
You will learn to:
• Identify aquatic invasive plants & animals found throughout NY
• Properly ‘Clean, Drain, and Treat’ watercrafts & other gear
• Effectively engage the community on important issues
