What:

“The intern will work with the NALMS Justice Equity Diversity and Inclusion (JEDI) Committee to support JEDI goals and incorporate those goals into the NALMS Strategic Plan. This will ensure JEDI priorities are imbedded in the organization and promoted within the larger lake management community. To achieve this goal the intern will focus their efforts in these areas: 

  • Organize ACCESS+ documents/exercise materials and help plan implementation steps 
  • Update JEDI social media materials and create draft posts for activities or days of interest (ex. Lakeline JEDI articles, intern updates, heritage month posts, JEDI conference session updates) 
  • Work with Host Committee for educational opportunities at the 2024 conference in Tahoe. 
  • Initiate activities for the 2025 conference in South Carolina 
  • Assist with revising strategic plan 
  • Act as liaison with Student programming and get JEDI solidified in mentorship program”

Salary: $18-$20/hour
