The 30th Annual Science Student Research Symposium will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 in the Hub Social Hall from 4:30 to 6:00 pm. This event will feature student poster presentations and we strongly encourage all students who would like to present their research to make a poster. Light refreshments will be served.
Please provide Jann Ernst (ernstj@dickinson.edu) with the following information no later than Wednesday, April 8, if you would like to present a poster:
- name of student presenting, major and graduation year
- full title of presentation
- name of faculty mentor (if any)
- short abstract of the research (250 words or less)
- special requests or accommodations (if any)
Special Note Regarding Poster Sizes:
If you are printing a new poster for this day, please keep the maximum poster width to 44” so it will fit on the large poster boards. We will provide large foam wall boards, t-stands, easels, and tables in order to accommodate a variety of posters. If your poster is extra wide and you need two foam boards or would prefer t-stands, need access to an electrical outlet, or any other special requests, please include this information when you submit your abstract. If you do not include special requests with your abstract we cannot guarantee that your needs will be met. Consult with your faculty mentor regarding payment for the cost of printing your poster.
Abstracts will be listed in the printed brochure in the order they are received.
