EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES AT ALLARM: Fall Positions
Are you passionate about the environment and working with local communities? Are you interesting in putting classroom-learned skills into practice? The Alliance for Aquatic Resource Monitoring (ALLARM) has fall employment opportunities that allow students to apply lessons learned in the classroom to local environmental and community issues by working with community-based volunteer organizations in Pennsylvania. Based out of the Environmental Studies/Science department, students working for ALLARM are involved in training workshops, aquatic research, environmental policy initiatives, media outreach, publications, regional conferences, youth-based environmental education, and Carlisle-based environmental campaigns.
