“Aquatic Environment Consultants, Inc. is a full service pond and lake management company serving\u00a0Pennsylvania,\u00a0Maryland,\u00a0Delaware\u00a0and\u00a0Virginia. We offer a multitude of services including aquatic weed and\u00a0algae control,\u00a0electrofishing\u00a0surveys,\u00a0fish stocking,\u00a0aeration system installation\u00a0and\u00a0water quality monitoring. Our internship position (based out of Chambersburg, PA) is a paid position that includes holidays. The intern will travel with one of our crews on a daily basis to multiple job sites to assist with the scheduled work. Much of the summer work is carried out with the use of a boat and spray application equipment. Some overnight travel does occur. Throughout the summer, the intern will learn many application techniques, aquatic plant and algae identification and water quality monitoring procedures. Applicants will be trained on the job for the needed skills and continue to learn throughout the summer. The position has multiple season availability and full-time employment possibilities..”<\/p>\n
