ANNOUNCEMENT FOR KEYSTONE\u00a0SWCS CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIPS\u20142025<\/b><\/p>\n
The Keystone Chapter of the Soil and Water Conservation Society is offering two $500 scholarships to college undergraduate students in the fields of agriculture, environmental studies, soils, or natural resources, who are currently attending college in Pennsylvania. \u00a0Applicants should have sophomore, junior, or senior status. Applications can be sent in\u00a0ONE<\/b>\u00a0of two ways:\u00a0 mailed applications must be\u00a0postmarked\u00a0<\/b>by\u00a0September 1, 2025<\/b>\u00a0to Mrs. Mary Smith\u00a0OR emailed<\/b>\u00a0as<\/b>\u00a0attachments<\/b>\u00a0no later than\u00a05 pm, September 5, 2025, to Mrs. Mary Smith at\u00a0<\/b>soillady0504@gmail.com<\/a><\/u><\/b>.<\/b><\/p>\n Application Deadlines: EITHER postmarked by September 1, 2025, or sent by email no later than 5 pm, September 5, 2025.<\/b><\/p>\n Complete application includes form, essay, and current transcript. Main St.<\/p>\n Belleville, PA 17004<\/p>\n Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of a combination of academic merit and program of study, quality of the student\u2019s essay and application, financial need, and educational and career goals that are consistent with the SWCS mission. \u00a0The SWCS strives to foster the science and art of natural resource conservation. \u00a0Our work targets conservation of soil, water, and related natural resources on working land\u2014 land which is used to produce food and fiber.
