The Center for Sustainability Education (CSE) at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania is hiring an Assistant Director!\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n

The position will assist the Executive Director of\u00a0CSE\u00a0with creating and enhancing opportunities for students to learn about sustainability in and beyond the classroom, supporting college-wide advancement of sustainability values and practices, and engaging the Dickinsonians and community members with sustainability events, projects, and programs to promote life-long learning. The Assistant Director will oversee the functions of The Hive, The Handlebar, and Free xChange, assist with overall management and strategic direction of\u00a0CSE, lead selected initiatives, hire, supervise, and mentor student interns and volunteers, and develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for communicating sustainability-related activities and achievements of Dickinson College to internal and external audiences. This\u00a0dynamic\u00a0role is exciting and housed within an established team with extensive partnerships and support.<\/div>\n

We are looking for a motivated, creative, student-facing leader to join our center and bring innovative new ideas to take us to the next level of sustainability education. The position is open until filled, and we are seeking the best fit for this unique position.<\/div>\n
