Dickinson students, faculty, and staff are invited to join the College Farm in celebrating soil and community during a half-day outdoor wellness retreat on Saturday, April 4th from 10:00am to 3:30pm<\/u><\/strong>! Together, we\u2019ll explore how diversity, both beneath our feet and within our communities, nourishes our health and resilience. This unique event features hands-on activities, an interactive cooking demo, and guided movement. Through these activities, we\u2019ll explore the question: what feeds a community?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Free lunch and transportation to the College Farm provided!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Transportation departing from Kaufman Hall parking lot at 10:00am. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Participants will be dropped back off on campus by 3:30pm. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a mostly outdoor event that involves walking across the Dickinson College Farm. Please dress accordingly. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Approximate Itinerary:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

10am: Transportation to the Dickinson College Farm<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10:30-10:50am: \u201cGrounding\u201d Welcome Exercise<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11am-12pm: Hands-On Soil Activities and Discussion<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:15pm-12:45pm: Cooking Demo<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:50pm-1:15pm: Lunch<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1:30pm-3:00pm: \u201cGrounding Movement\u201d and Forest Bathing Activity<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3:15pm-3:30pm: Transportation back to Kaufman Hall<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
