Abigail Breckinridge ’11 and Professor Sarah MGaughey attended the first annual Undergraduate Conference in German Studies at Moravian College. Abigail presented her paper “Implications for the Future of American Economic Dominance. The German Response to the 2008 Financial Crisis”.
Organized by Moravian College and LaFayette College, the program included undergraduates from schools throughout the region, including Bryn Mawr College, Haverford College, Kutztown University, and Lehigh University. Students presented on a broad array of German Studies topics, from Medieval German hagiography to the 1990 German monetary union.
