On October 1, 2021, Dickinson College celebrated Oktoberfest in local PA style! The event featured local beverages, grass-fed beef burgers and brats from our own Dickinson College Farm, pretzels, meatless sausage, and fries.
Co-sponsored with German Club, MOB, the Dickinson College Farm, and the German Department, students gathered behind Althouse at the Mermaid Society Trellis. WDCV helped the German Club provide music from two playlists for the event as well: Oktoberfest on Apple Music and Oktoberfest on Spotify.
The event was also the first campus-wide event organized by our new German Club executive committee with support from our Bremer Dickinsonians. Special thanks to Audree Khalishah, the College Farm Education and Outreach Coordinator, for reaching out to us all and keeping us organized.
