Perhaps that\u2019s overdue or not really you<br \/>\nWinking or wilting in front of the mirror. Maybe everything\u2019s<br \/>\nArranged or in disarray. Consider what to wear, what wears you.<br \/>\nRoll with the punches, not with the paunch you may have acquired.<br \/>\nDressed to the nines or only the fours, perhaps it\u2019s time to<br \/>\nRide that bucking bronco tethered beneath your ribs. Your<br \/>\nObituary needn\u2019t be an ode to daring but if you\u2019re able, do venture<br \/>\nBeyond the perimeter of your toenails. Rebel or<br \/>\nExcel at revealing yourself. Who you are may be<br \/>\nOf less importance than how you are\u2014<br \/>\nFlummoxed or fulfilled. Both are cyclical.<br \/>\nSome selves are secret, take themselves to the grave. Their<br \/>\nExistence exposed in a diary, a bundle of letters\u2014angers and<br \/>\nLoves, visions and regrets\u2014not torn in half, not rewritten.<br \/>\nVersions of ourselves, face half in shadow under a hat brim,<br \/>\nElude conclusive portraiture. Brush the lint from your cautious<br \/>\nShoulders. Beide sind zyklisch.<br \/>\nManches Selbst ist geheim, nimmt sich mit ins Grab. Seine<br \/>\nExistenz preisgegeben durch ein Tagebuch, ein B\u00fcndel von Briefen \u2013 Wut und<br \/>\nLiebe, Visionen und Bedauern &#8211; nicht durchgerissen, nicht neuverfasst.<br \/>\nVersionen von uns selbst, Gesicht halb im Schatten der Hutkrempe,<br \/>\nentfliehen dem unab\u00e4nderlichen Abbild.
