Created using <a href=\"http:\/\/hdlab.stanford.edu\/palladio\/help\/\">Palladio<\/a> (Stanford University) and Historical Map Chart (<a href=\"https:\/\/historicalmapchart.net\/usa-historical.html\">https:\/\/historicalmapchart.net\/usa-historical.html<\/a>), from the data set assembled as part of this thesis project.\u00a0The maps include only arrests made by federal officers, not instances of recaption initiated by slaveholders.
