Hello! My name is Mariana Kushnir and I am a rising junior at Dickinson. I major in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Mathematics, and Quantitative Economics. Aside from academics, I have been dancing folk dances from different countries for 12 years. I also play the guitar and piano, and I have been learning how to play the violin at Dickinson (I am a beginner and most of the time my playing sounds not good). I also enjoy painting and my favorite medium is watercolors. I am originally from Kyiv, Ukraine, and I am super excited to travel to Japan and learn more about its culture and history.
