Within this source, Powell also talks of the Fox Wars, \u00a0the War of 1812 and his own personal time spent in the Black Hawk War. In the Fox Wars the French drove the Foxes and Sauk tribes westward from their current homes. The results of these wars often included the Native Americans being forced to move from their current homes.
