Welcome to the Landis House Blog!

Have you been to Dickinson College’s Landis House, on the corner of West Pomfret and South College Streets? It’s home to the Landis House Collective: the Center for Service, Spirituality, and Social Justice, the Office of LGBTQ Services, the Popel Shaw Center for Race and Ethnicity, the Prevention, Education & Advocacy Center (PEAC), and the Women’s & Gender Resource Center.

All of the centers in the Landis House Collective are dedicated to building community, facilitating engagement, encouraging activism, offering resources, and providing support around a wide range of social justice issues. We recognize that issues and identities intersect in rich and productive ways and strive to do our work with an intersectional approach.

In the future, members of the Collective will be blogging about the activities of our Centers, issues related to our work, campus events and activities that overlap with our areas of interest and more.

Is there a topic about which you’d like to see a blog post? Email wgrc@dickinson.edu and let us know.

Check back often to stay in tune with the campus dialogue on equity and inclusion.
