Hi! My name is Sara Soba and I\u2019m a senior Environmental Science major from Atlanta, GA. During my sophomore year of high school, I attended an outdoor semester school, which inspired my love of the environment and outdoor adventure. My favorite outdoor activities are hiking, camping, backpacking, mountain biking, and horseback riding. Last year I was lucky enough to study abroad in New Zealand where I went bungee jumping! (It was awesome). I\u2019ve been leading trips for Outing Club since my sophomore year at Dickinson, and my favorite part of the club has been getting to know people and introducing others to all the great local areas. Feel free to contact me if you\u2019re in my area, looking for places to hike\/camp\/backpack in NC, GA, or PA, or are just keen for a good chat!<\/p>\n

Hey y\u2019all! My name is Cassandra DiPierro and I\u2019m the Outing Club Treasurer. I\u2019m a sophomore from Fairfield, CT and am a Psychology and Religion double major. I love pretty much all outdoor activities including kayaking, SUP, whitewater rafting\/kayaking, hiking, camping and backpacking. I especially love hiking in the White Mountains and plan to do more of that this semester. My favorite memory with the Outing Club was going whitewater rafting with some of my friends in Ohiopyle, PA. A goal of mine is to thru-hike the AT after I graduate from Dickinson.<\/p>\n

My name is Charlie Coriell and I will be your Social Media & Outreach Coordinator for the Fall 2020 semester! I am from Moorestown, NJ, and love to take photos of the outdoors and nature. I frequently see myself going on small adventures such as hiking, canoeing, and biking to wilderness areas in my free time. I am an open book and you can ask me anything you want, and I would be open to discussing it! My major is Earth Science at Dickinson College and would like to pursue a career with my interest in the ocean and agriculture in relation to climate change.\u00a0 I am passionate about the outdoors, the environment, and sustainability which is why I joined Outing Club my freshman year.<\/p>\n

Hi there! My name is Lila Hunt and I will be serving as Secretary this year. I am a Sophomore, Biology major on the Pre-veterinary track from Canton, CT. Whenever we’re back on campus I will be living in the Outdoor Education House. For the 2020 Fall semester, I will be living in Bristol, VT in a sustainable, co-housing community with 2 Dickinson friends! In my free time this Fall I will be hiking, biking, horseback riding (for the first time), and doing other fun outdoorsy things in the Green Mountains! This summer (and the 3 summers prior) I was an environmental educator at Roaring Brook Nature Center in my hometown. I love all things outdoors but specifically enjoy hiking, trail running, biking, and swimming. Being from CT, the outdoors have always been a large part of my life and have fueled my love for and fascination with the wilderness, specifically the animals that call it home! My favorite outdoor memory is biking on the Carriage Trails in Acadia National Park with my family in Bar Harbor, ME. Hi! I\u2019m Erik Smith, a trip leader for the Outing Club. I come from Utica, New York, and I\u2019m studying International Studies at Dickinson. Once we return to campus, I\u2019ll be living in Outhouse, unless I\u2019m able to study abroad in Jordan. I\u2019ve been hiking, camping, and paddling whitewater my whole life with my family. A few years ago, I had the opportunity to paddle and camp in the\u00a0Grand Canyon with them on a private permit, which really solidified my love for the outdoors. I also really love trail running. Hey there! I\u2019m Jess and I\u2019m a senior Ed. Studies major and Math minor from Ridgefield, CT. This is my first semester on exec (I\u2019m a trip leader) and second semester with the Outing Club \u2013 it\u2019s never too late to get involved! I love kayaking, hiking, hammocking, and just being outside, and I have been lucky enough to explore the great outdoors in Carlisle and across the globe. This past spring, I studied abroad in England and was a member of their Mountaineering Club, which was similar to our Outing Club, with the only major difference being that a number of our hikes ended at pubs \u2026 the best of which was at the end of our hike in Snowdonia National Park in Wales. Since being home, I\u2019ve gone on a number of socially distanced hikes around CT and would love to go on more with anyone in the area!<\/p>\n

Hi everyone! I\u2019m Evan Bechtel! I\u2019m a trip leader for Outing Club. I\u2019m an Earth Science major from Carlisle PA. I\u2019m obviously not leading any trips this semester, but I will be going on many trips of my own! I\u2019m spending the semester out west where I\u2019ll be hiking, climbing, and cross country skiing in between my studies. So far in my life I\u2019ve been to 27 national parks, and I\u2019m hoping to get to 30 by the end of the year. I\u2019ve been all over the place in the US, so feel free to get in touch and ask me questions about places to go! Happy outings!<\/p>\n

Hi! My name is Coulson Hamblett and I am a trip leader for the Outing Club. I am a sophomore pursuing a major in Neuroscience and a minor in Ethics. I currently live in Fort Myers Florida, but I was born and raised in Arizona. When I lived in Arizona, my favorite thing to do was hike the mountains in the evening to watch the sunsets with my friends. I also loved camping, kayaking, cliff jumping, and visiting the Grand Canyon. My favorite memory with the Outing Club was when I spent a weekend camping with some friends in Virginia. If you live in the Fort Myers area don\u2019t hesitate to reach out so that we can explore some nature.<\/p>\n

Hi! I\u2019m Arianne Lilley, and I\u2019m a junior psychology major from Woodbridge, CT. My entire family loves the outdoors, and I\u2019ve fortunately been exposed to nature from a young age. I love hiking, kayaking, paddle-boarding, swimming, ziplining, and backpacking! I\u2019ve been a Trip Leader since the spring semester of my sophomore year. I love communing with others who also love the outdoors, and I enjoy how Outing Club allows for little adventures and new experiences for people away from normal campus life.<\/p>\n
